Stephen Avenue (downtown Calgary):
Stephen Avenue is a Parks Canada National Historic District - one of only two in western Canada. What makes this street so special? Stephen Avenue was the original main drag of Calgary - cowboys, cattle barons, First Nations peoples, and those wild individualists who heard the call of the west all congregated here. Even the Sundance Kid showed up here - he owned a saloon on this very street! And the food? It's fantastic!
